Naturopath
What does a Naturopath do?
A naturopath employs natural therapies to help the body to heal itself, the way it’s intended to. While a GP is trained to match symptoms or diseases with medications, a Naturopath will look at your diet, lifestyle, stress levels, health history and environment to find the root cause of the problem. Your treatment plan may involve herbs, supplements, dietary changes or lifestyle recommendations.
Naturopaths use a wide range of modalities and tools, and each practitioner has a unique style of practice. Some Naturopaths have a spititual approach, while other, like myself are more science-based. It’s important to find a Naturopath that aligns with your preferences.

When you book your consultation, you will receive a health questionnaire to complete and return to me. Obtaining a comprehensive picture of your current health is a crucial first step in helping you reach your goals.
During your appointment, you’ll meet with me for a comprehensive interview to discuss your health history and family health history, your current health concerns and develop a treatment plan to help you.
Please note that any supplements and herbal mixtures required are at an additional cost. Payment may be made by EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard or Cash.
Sorry, I don’t treat kids.

Herbal Dispensary
Plants have been the basis for medical treatments throughout history. Modern pharmaceutical drugs are derived from plants, however, the use of herbs does not generally involve the side effects that are experienced with pharmaceuticals. The herbal dispensary offers 3 tiers of herbal medicine.
♦ My herbal teas are crafted from a variety of organic dried flowers, herbs, spices and fruits and have proven health benefits. They also make a great caffeine substitute. I can create a customised herbal tea blend specifically addressing your health concerns, or I can assist you in creating your own blend.
♦ Liquid herbs are more potent than herbal teas and as a qualified Naturopath and Herbalist, I can formulate personalised herbal tonics to address your ongoing symptoms.
♦ Additionally, as a qualified naturopath, I stock a range of “Practitioner Only” herbal medicines in tablet, liquid and powder forms. Practitioner only products are complementary medicines listed or registered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and exclusively supplied to qualified healthcare professionals. They are only available with a clinical consultation.
“Walk-In” Naturopath Consultations
For simple health concerns such as colds, coughs, low energy, menopause symptoms etc. I can provide a brief over-the-counter consultation without requiring an appointment. However, if I determine that the health issue is more complex or requires personalised care you may need to schedule a longer consultation. You may receive a personalised herbal tea, a herbal tonic or dietary and lifestyle advice.
